Richard Clarfield -- 06/06/2006 -- Richard Clarfield is a stockbroker who put his financial well-being on the line by entering the justice system. He had a battle with his insurance company over disability benefits and was forced to turn to the courts for a resolution. But it was a huge gamble. If he lost, he would likely have been required to pay the legal costs of an insurance company with assests valued at $20 Billion. He would have been forced to declare bankruptcy. Fortunately, he won, and won big.

Fresh Air Fund -- 06/06/2006 -- Hafiz Mohsin Jeelani, 19, was the leader of a group of students at the Islamic Foundation School that took part in a home-made version of The Apprentice. They broke off into groups and, using $50, tried to make as much money as possible. Priceless Inc., a group of grade 12 and 9 students won the challenge earning exactly $200.05 on top of their original $50 investment. They then donated the money to the Fresh Air Fund.

I really like the first pic - kind of an ode to the now late, Arnold Newman. I like it.
