Tamil -- 07/23/2006 --
Black July is a time that still haunts many Tamil Canadians, it was a deadly time when civil war in Sri Lanka led to the burning and looting of many homes and the killing of hundreds of tamils. V A Sellathurai's home and belongings were destroyed and he and his family were forced to go to a refugee camp. This Monday, he and his compatriots will be gathering to give thanks to the country that took them in and saved their lives. Sellathurai credits his faith with helping him survive.
