yeah nice fire pic.

i also like the portrait by the tree, but i find that big branch in front of her just a little too distracting.

i was in ottawa over the weekend and i went through a few of my moms papers from the end of the week and the weekend. You had a couple of nice pics in there. The lady with her hair out on the snow was good. And nice play on that dancing picture!

thanks everyone!

ryan- Thanks... Yea, that was the second year shooting that ball. It was fun. Very posh event held every year here that the citizen gets full acess too. There were so many nice pictures that didn't see light over that one.

Hey Ashley,

What is it with Ottawa and fires. Is it also trying to be the fire capital of Canada? Nice work. I like the protrait too. Nice framing and creative composition. Also nice selective lighting.

I think you should submit that Gordon Downey pic for a creative caption contest, mine would be: Canadian rock singing Gordon Downey caught moments before he self-combusted when he become irrate with his microphone for being too phallic and patriachically arrogant in the face of corderoy zebras that live underground in garbage bag trees beneath seas of enormity... Boy that's a howler, eh. I should definitely quite the day-job I currently don't have and take up comedy writing.

Best,
Malcolm

Wow! Malcolm. I want whatever it is that your having! I will never forget that memorable caption from staff class.
"a tip of the hat, it all came together for the photographer to capture"
or something like that. If you have that caption and photo id love to see it!!
