Some really great stuff in there.
Excellent design as well! I like being able to navigate everything from the one page.
Personally I'm not sure that you need an entire section just for NHL in the sports section. I think you could fit those into your sports action and sports feature sections. Having said that the design is good enough that having that extra section in doesn't make it any more cluttered.
