Nice work Pike!!! I think it worked very well together, it was a nice light feature-ish soundslide. Where as a picture alone might have been nice, it was nice to hear the commentary on what happened, and why it was being made. I really liked it.

Hey Chris, nice job! I really liked the last frame and the way the chainsaw noise faded away into the background. Definately a cool feature. Gotta love the color to B&W transition!

How long did you hang out with them??

One important thing to remember is that the people watching these have the attention span of a gnat and unless your subject matter is boobies and explosions, you have to keep it quick and to the point. I know well that editing the images and audio down is difficult - my first sound slide was over 3 minutes long! The only other thing I noticed was that it sounded like you pushed the decible level on the audio a little to high and it started to get distorted in some parts.

I can't wait to take Will Yurman's workshop at the GWNW this year and learn from someone who has a ton of expereince making these!

Hey Blair,

Thanks for the kind words, definately a huge learning curve on the multi-media thing, took about 5 hours of just screwing around with Audacity to figure out how to use it. A couple more projects, before I really get the sound thing under control.

Just went with how long my audio was, so hard to get it down once you have quotes that you like and work well with the photos.
