So the Oilers upset the #1 Detroit Redwings last night, spurring a lot of fans to take over E-town's party district.
A couple hundred (maybe a thousand?) people shouting "show your tits" and even louder carn horns, but no real news.
Wasn't it Noam Chompsky who said something to the extent that professional sports is an opiate for the masses?
Whoever it was, they were right. Canada Day is reason to party, but how many times can you scream "Go Oilers" "Oilers rock" "Detroit Sucks" ect. It got old real quick, and it's only the start of the playoffs.
